I am a research fellow at INAF, the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics, where I am working on novel approaches for data-intensive analysis.
I am also adjunct professor of computer science at the University of Trieste, Italy, and consultant for a number of companies on data analysis, machine learning and software development in general.
Previously, I co-founded a startup working on infrastructural and environmental monitoring, I have been a cohort memebr at Entrepreneur First London (Europe’s best deep tech accelerator), the head of data at an energy intelligence company and a CERN fellow.
Side activities include giving lectures and seminars on software development best practices, advocating for scientific software reproducibilty, and developing some open source projects in the time series analysis and IoT space.
